We visited the French Rotisserie last week and had a very pleasant visit. The restaurant is owned by TPC residents which I feel is a plus. He recognizes you upon arrival and is quick to greet you with a smile and a quick update with the restaurant and our community. The interior has been updated with a modern look which works.
Their menu has changed and many of our old favorites are still there, but you do have to do a little work to figure it out. Our waiter was very helpful explaining the changes and we all navigated the new menu with ease. I have included a picture of the new menu to help you plan ahead.
You start by ordering protein Chicken Au Jus, Duck Leg Confit, Braised Beef, Fish & Seafood or Lamb Shank. You can add sauces for $5.00 and I would recommend it. Add Greens if you wish. We ordered House Mixed Greens for $5.00, and it was large enough for 2 or 3 if you want a small side salad. The Sides are $5.00 and will make your meal complete.
We ordered the Braised Beef with Yukon Gold Potatoes, the Tiger Shrimp with Lobster Bisque, and Seafood Vol-au-Vent $30.00 which included calamari, shrimp and fish in a puff pastry with green beans. (It is not pictured on the menu picture attached). We also ordered the Tempura Cod on Brioche sandwich (not pictured) which was huge and very tasty.
The desserts are great too. We didn’t order any this trip, but I can recommend the Apple Tart, the Profiteroles and the Chocolate Mousse.
There are many of the old favorites still on the menu and they have added many sandwiches for lunch.
I must say the service was excellent and the food some of the best in the Valley. I am a French Food fan and my opinion is colored by that, but you can’t go wrong if you are looking for a great meal in a comfortable environment.
The pricing can be $$ to $$$ to $$$$ depending on your selections.
