POM $$

For those of you who are new to Trilogy and this area, Fantasy Springs Casino offers several dining options. We ladies decided to try POM for our ladies lunch out, but arriving a bit early for the noon opening we took a spin through the casino. Fun!

The decor is lovely at POM and although there are different menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I really wanted to try the calamari which was not on the luncheon menu. Our delightful server and the chef were able to fulfill my wish for the crispy calamari with pesto aioli, arrabiata, and lemon accompanied by the insalata abbondanza with chiant-balsamic dressing. My friend chose chicken parmigiana with capellini pomodoro.

Next time I may be tempted to try the pan Asian salmon with a sesame soy glaze, stir fried veggies, crispy noodles, and steamed jasmine rice. Menu choices include Latin Spice, Italian Cucina, and all American.
